BLOOD ORANGE VODKA sour

Recipe:

2 oz. Prairie Organic Vodka

1 oz. freshly squeezed blood orange juice

1/2 oz. honey syrup

3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice

optional: 1 egg white (for a rich silky texture)

Directions: 

  • Combine all ingredients into a shaker.
  • If using egg white, seal the shaker without ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
  • Add ice to the shaker, seal, and shake again for another 10-12 seconds until well-chilled.
  • Double-strain the cocktail (using both the built-in strainer and a fine-mesh strainer) into a chilled coupe glass.
  • Garnish with a dehydrated blood orange wheel or a fresh blood orange twist.
